Redesigned locking pliers key to safer working

Brammer : 13 August, 2013  (New Product)
Brammer is showcasing the benefits of an innovative pair of locking pliers from Irwin, which have been redesigned with a far greater emphasis on health and safety and ease of use.
Redesigned locking pliers key to safer working

The Irwin Vise-Grip Fast Release Locking Pliers feature a self-energising low jaw mechanism, which not only means three times more gripping power compared to a traditional model, but also additional power that is generated as more pressure is applied. This allows the user to apply as much of their body weight to the tool as they need to, without compromising on grip. The new tool comes equipped with Pro Touch non-slip grips, which offer greater hand comfort and significantly more control in wet and greasy conditions. Finally, the tool has a fast release handle, allowing the operator to release using one hand.

Ian Lofthouse of Brammer said: “The new model has some great features which haven’t been seen in this type of tool before. It can be extremely challenging to use locking pliers which requires two hands to unclip, not to mention dangerous when they could slip from their position. The new design from Irwin negates this risk and will mean the user experience is greatly improved.”

In this latest ‘Quick Tips’ video from Brammer,

group specialists and industry experts, explain
