Remote I/O modules support Profinet, Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP

Acromag : 23 September, 2013  (New Product)
Acromag's BusWorks XT Series discrete I/O Ethernet modules now interface signal devices on Profinet, Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP networks. Rugged construction, high density design, and easy USB-to-PC/Windows setup combine into very effective I/O. These units are ideal for remote monitoring, distributed control, or SCADA applications.
Remote I/O modules support Profinet, Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP
Each model features dual Ethernet ports and sixteen channels to process I/O signals, whether sinking (XT1110) or sourcing (XT1120) outputs. Front-facing terminals allow for more convenient wiring and support daisy-chaining for simple and cost-effective installation. The addition of Innovasic PriorityChannel technology strengthens defenses against problems that threaten real-time performance, even as network traffic increases.

Each module processes I/O signals on up to 16 channels and features dual Ethernet ports, as well as pluggable front-facing terminals, for more convenient wiring. Channels are individually configurable for input or low-side switched output operation. This arrangement allows daisy-chaining of modules to simplify installation and minimize switch requirements to reduce cost.
