Video Report: Reliable linear bearings easy to fit, give long, lubrication-free life

Igus (UK) : 04 April, 2013  (Special Report)
Bearing specialist Igus UK offers interchangeable lubrication-free linear bearing liners that are based on specially developed wear resistant plastics. As a result of using the liners, users can reduce downtime and improve their processes significantly.
Video Report: Reliable linear bearings easy to fit, give long, lubrication-free life

Drylin bearing liners are produced in a variety of Igus’ Iglidur high performance plastics and are an easy fit alternative to ball linings. They simply press or clip into the linear carriage with ease. The liners are reliable and their inherent dry-running properties ensure grease-free operation on all available shaft materials from the Drylin range, including hard anodised aluminium or even soft stainless steel.

Coupled with the original grooved design, the liner pushes away any residue, and therefore prevents the undesirable build-up of paste, dirt and debris. Any contaminant is simply passed through the bearing channels, thus minimising pressure build up in the front of the bearing.

All Drylin linear bearings are designed to last for a long time, but even if the liner needs to be changed it can be done with virtually no effort.
