Molex Incorporated is launching its Flexible Microwave Cable Assemblies designed to replace stiff, semi-rigid assemblies with a combination of Temp-Flex coaxial cables and high-performance radio frequency (RF) connectors. Ultra-low-loss flexible microwave coaxial cable

Molex has launched a line microwave cable assemblies that utilises its Temp-Flex air-dielectric ultra-low-loss flexible microwave coaxial cables, featuring a patented dual monofilament air-enhanced design and a helically wrapped shield. The Temp-Flex coaxial cables achieve 85 to 88% velocity of propagation (VOP) for increased signal speed.
Right-angle header connector meets space requirements for sealed applications in vehicles

Molex announces a further extension of its CMC product line with the introduction of a 28-circuit right-angle header. The new CMC header mates with the Molex 28-circuit female power connector to offer harness makers a complete, space-saving wire-to-board solution for sealed transportation applications requiring up to 21A. With the introduction on the 28-circuit, high current, right-angle header, harness makers can now meet more challenging space requirements, such as those found on motorcycle ECUs.

Molex is extending its offering of Brad mPm external thread, field attachable DIN valve connectors with the introduction of DIN Form B, C and Micro versions with electronic circuitry. Options include a bi-polar Light Emitting Diode (LED) power on indicator, LED with blocking diodes to protect against over voltage or peaks when switching off, and bi-polar LED with a voltage-dependent resistor (VDR) to protect supply and switch.

Molex has augmented its CPU sockets with the lIntel-approved LGA 2011-0 CPU socket for the Intel Core i7 series of 32nm-Sandy Bridge-E microprocessors. Designed to handle 130W Thermal Design Power (TDP), the LGA 2011-0 socket replaces the LGA 1366 CPU socket, which was used with the Intel Core i7-930, i7-950, i7-960, i7-980 and i7-990X processors.
