Connection technology for building-integrated photovoltaics

Phoenix Contact is introducing a junction box for building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV). This single-terminal connection element is the third member of the Sunclix BIPV product family; its adjustable width makes it easy to integrate into insulating glass modules. The company is also expanding its portfolio of AC plug connectors for photovoltaic systems.

The new Heavycon EVO industrial plug-in connectors from Phoenix Contact are compliant with protection class IP 65 and feature uniform angled sleeve housings. The matching cable glands for clamp sizes M20 to M40 can be freely combined with any sleeve and base element in sizes B6, B10, B16, and B24.

Real-time I/O system now available with bus coupler

The Axioline real-time I/O system from Phoenix Contact is now available with Sercos-3 bus coupler. Its advantages include short reaction times and synchronised operation. This makes the coupler ideal for use in packaging and printing machines or as a process bus for hydraulic or other pressure regulation systems where I/Os and drives share a common network.
