Nuclear Power Generation : 15 April, 2014
Westinghouse Electric and the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine (NNEGC Energoatom) have agreed a contract extension for fuel deliveries to Ukrainian nuclear power plants through 2020. The contract provides for the continuation of the long-standing partnership between the two companies in providing competitive and secure nuclear fuel supplies for Ukraine’s reactor fleet.
Virtual CHP Power Plants "could be an answer to increasing network demand"
Carbon Footprint : 31 January, 2014
Virtual Power Plants could decarbonise electricity supplies, while reducing demand on the electricity network by harnessing power from small clusters of combined heat and power (CHP) systems. This could avoid the expense of building additional electrical generating capacity. That's the conclusion of research undertaken by energy solutions business ENER-G in partnership with Advanced Digital Institute; Flexitricity; Smarter Grid Solutions and UK Power Networks.

Major climate threat to global supply chains identified by new research
Carbon Footprint : 23 January, 2013
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the initiative that has worked for many years to release carbon emissions data from the world's largest companies, has published its fifth report on the global supply chain's CO2 emissions.
