Silver and nickel conductive pens make instant tracks on circuit boards
Electronics Manufacturing Systems : 15 March, 2014
The CircuitWorks range of conductive ink pens have been launched by Intertronics for engineers and technicians in electronic manufacturing and repair industries. They instantly create silver or nickel conductive tracks on rigid or flexible circuit boards in the prototyping, rework and repair of boards (or flex circuits) where they enable linking of components, repair of defective tracks and production of smooth jumpers. The tracks dry in minutes and have excellent adhesion to most electronic materials - and so facilitate especially quick modification or rectification.
Atomic layer deposition equipment finds application in 3D high-k capacitors
Electronics Manufacturing Systems : 20 December, 2013
Sistem Technology has announced that the Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) equipment it supplies from Picosun Oy is being used in the fast, cost-efficient mass production of next generation 3D capacitors, as part of an EU development programme. These devices will be suitable for use, for example, in pacemakers and other implantable medical devices, electric cars, and highly efficient memories for computers and mobile devices.
Micro drill for electronics rework
Electronics Manufacturing Systems : 19 February, 2013
The new CircuitMedic Micro Drill system from Intertronics is versatile and powerful, making it suited for milling, drilling, grinding, cutting and sanding circuit boards. It removes coating, cuts circuits, cuts leads, drills holes, cuts slots, shapes FR4 and performs many other procedures using various interchangeable bits.
