Active filter partnership maintains power quality with rapid response times
Filters : 20 August, 2013
CP Automation has formed a new joint venture project with Swedish active filter manufacturer Comsys AB. The new venture allows CP Automation to supply both passive and active harmonic filters.

Three-phase AC high-current filter for increasingly powerful inverters
Filters : 20 August, 2013
Schurter is expanding its successful FMER SOL DC filter with a series for applications using 3-phase AC. The new FMCC SOL high-performance filter series is designed for rated currents from 150 to 2500 A. The devices are ideal for increasingly powerful inverters that require filters on both the AC and DC sides. Large inverters find use in photovoltaics, wind energy systems as well as in industrial applications and quick-charge stations for electric vehicles.

Photovoltaic line filters to 1500V reduce energy losses
Filters : 03 August, 2013
CD Automation has launched the UK photovoltaic industry’s first family of DC power line filter solutions supporting 1500V panels. The new filters maximise the operating DC voltage to the limit of the European Union’s Low Voltage Directive (LVD).
